The Kohl's History Lesson

Kohl's
opens its first store in Brookfield, WI in 1962.  In 1986 the company is purchased by a group of investors and opens its 40th store.
Kohl's
joins the S & P 500 in 1998 while the company continues its expansion and Kohl's stock splits two for one.
Kohl's
stock splits again in 2000 and now operates 320 stores.  By 2006 Kohl's has grown to well over 1000 stores.
